Very friendly polite and helpful staff

Disappointing service from store manager. You dont expect to be overcharged for goods and when you raise a query be expected to bring all the goods back in. If you present the receipt a manager should be able to calculate which products are not correct without rescanning everything.

Arrived and picked up a menu for the cafe/restaurant. Noticed a sign stating no Panini/hot sandwiches. Decided to have a normal sandwich and chips. Get to the checkout and told no sandwiches at all apart from premade (looked squashed and old) so then decide that we are all going to have jacket potatoes, only to be told that hot food isn't available till 12 midday, dispute the menu stating it is 11.30 for light lunches. Talk about being messed about. Settled for a coffee and will degdefinit by bother eating here again. Notice when you walk in would have been a good idea?

A local garden centre conveniently situated in the main A38 with a good size car park, plenty of covered walkway areas and a very wide range of products and services with some other retail units offering clothes inside and hot tubs outside. The quality of the plants is very good -they are obviously well cared for by the extremely pleasant and friendly staff. Likewise, the staff in the onsite Edinburgh Woollen Mill were equally friendly. Didn't try the cafe but it looked clean and tidy.Across the board, Wyvale prices are on the high side but for plants that can be a subjective point of view.

Warm bread and baked beans in a teacup. Thats what the Thornbury Wyevale Garden centre served up to me when I asked for a Full English breakfast. These are two things that make me angry as I strongly disapprove of both toast fraud and hipsters. As a result, Wyevale have forfeited a whole star, which I shall donate to a charity later on. Apart from that, this garden centre was perfectly fine. Whilst there, I bought some holly to make burglars think twice about climbing over my wall. No-one likes being pricked by spiky plants, and burglars are no exception. Although I did not use the toilet facilities, my girlfriend did and she reports that they were very nice and that she had a satisfying poo there. In summation, if you like holly, this garden centre is perfectly fine. If you like actual toast, go somewhere else. And if you hate hipsters, as I do, nuke it from orbit. Its the only way to be sure.
