Busy place but made busier by what appears to be inexperienced staff. Queue can build very quickly as they appear to devote everyone to 1 customer at a time. Still top quality coffee though.
Great coffee and popular but never overcrowded cafe. Good food with good options but cakes always a bit less choice than I'd like. (Visiting as a cyclist looking for coffee and cake to refuel)
Today was a very good day, most excellent service, just the right Vibe, could quite easily have stopped much longer.
Really love this coffee shop. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming and the shop itself is very contemporary and streets ahead of the bigger high street chains. Coffee is superb and all in all well worth a visit.
It's really a pleasant place to have coffee and the staff contribute by being welcoming and friendly. I only went for coffee, but.... The fruit tart was too tempting, displayed invitingly, so... bingo, and it was so nice We were only passing visitors, but apparently, they welcome older people with connection difficulties. Nice one Coffee 1. We enjoyed the experience. Back for more on our next visit from Newcastle,... and thanks.
