Absolutely shocking customer service, the woman (so say the manager) is extremely rude and incompetent. On trying to collect a parcel, my husband was collecting on my behalf and had the correct id as stated clearly in the email. She would not give him the parcel and refused to read the email saying she was tired and would sooner close the shop than give him the parcel. I rang and asked to speak to the manager, who unbelievably was her, she told me I was wrong and she is very busy and put the phone down on me. I cannot believe how someone who lacks any customer service skills can be allowed to be in charge of a post office.
Last 14 years tried to avoid, as the old women who work there are the grumpiest and lack customer skills....think Fawlty towers.... 2018 have new faces who are friendly, but there is still one ill-mannered elderly non Bristonian woman there. Avoid her unless you like to be spoken to abruptly. The manager lacks the back bone to chastise her. The two new faces make the post office user friendly now.
Lovely staff! I was running late & the wonderful lady behind the counter stayed open long enough for me to be able to send my important parcels, despite me arriving AT 17:30. What a super star! Cannot thank Thornbury branch enough!
Staff are helpful and work hard but they are constantly under staffed. Expect at least a 20 minute queue at most times of the day!
It is good but especially at Christmas it is super busyThat is normal though!!!
