NEVER AGAIN! Dont be fooled by a cheap quote because if you have your bike stolen or want to change your bike you will be ripped off big time!!!!My son is 16 and I pay his insurance, his bike was insured for 2k and was stolen from outside the collage. They sent cheque for 500? Still have to pay years insurance even when you haven't got the bike meaning we actually only got 300 for a 2k bike. To cancel policy you get hit with heavy admin fees which will only get you 7 back. Customer service is rude people and 45 mins to get through to them. I could write forever about these con artists. They won't speak to me even though I pay my son's insurance and brought his bike, they will only speak to policy holder. At 16 you are still a child and are left wide open to these bullies. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN TO THESE REVIEWS AS THEY ARE TRUE. You never know how good an insurance company is until you need them!!!!
LOOK AT ALL THE NICE REVIEWS YOU ARE GETTING FOR YOUR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.My son took out insurance using his nans card, after 1 year we never received a renewal notice so the say it was sent via email to my email address. but because they decided to take the payment from her card she become overdrawn getting a charge. when calling they said we should have called on the day the payment was taken.. THEY DON'T OPEN ON SUNDAYS. They then refuse to give a full refund and take 25 admin fees. RIP OFF.Looks like my son is not the only one that has been stitched up by these con artists.Our whole family rides with a large ish biking group and will definitely not be recommending them at the next meeting.
We're do I start my bike was damaged they collected my bike with frequent pushing by me I had to call them to find out what was happening as they did not bother to call me once the people that collected my bike damaged my driveway gate. And the wrote my bike off gave me 800 less what's its worth bottom price then have the cheak to say I ow them more money do your self a favour guys do not I replete do not use this company
I had taken out motorcycle insurance with them and they struggled getting mods added to the policy. When I asked for a updated policy with these changes sent to me or proof by email they kept failling to send them. In the end I cancelled they have now charged me 25 for cancelling within the 14 day period and the reason they have given is because I brought it from a online broker and they charge them so they are passing the cost to me. Just checked with MoneySuperMarket who I went through and they give a full refund within the 14 days but the insurance company can still charge a admin charge. So cancelling is not free within the 14 Days. Liars Motorcycle Direct are and cannot be trusted.A heads up for people with mods they only cover up to 16 mods that are on the list of approved ones so expect the price to go up like mine did.
Beware when calling for a new quote that the number given is 0844 premium rate and I was kept waiting before speaking to anyone and subsequently charged more than 18 for a single call. It does state in very small print that calls are charged 7p per minute plus network charges but this is easily missed. Any saving I might have made against my current insurer has been lost in this one phone call so I decided not to give them any more business.
