Terrible customer service. They told the glasses will be ready within 2 weeks and I would get a text when they are ready. Waited for more than 4 weeks but no follow up, nothing. Now they say only one pair is made and will be here ASAP and quote "one day of snow" as a cause for delay. Made 4 trips to the store already. Will need to go another 2 times at least. Not Happy.
Went in for a contact test only for them to turn me away and say I needed to book a glasses test, then come in for a contact lenses test. I only booked the test because I had a text and letter saying that my contacts needed checking and it was overdue! Not My glasses test too! Would be helpful if they inform you of this as you are booking! Booked time off work for the test only to have to take more holiday! Bit of a joke really!
Long wait for glasses and then sent wrong ones. Received what I ordered after 3rd attempt.
Very helpful staff. Helped to sort out a number of problems caused by the Broadmead branch.
Booked a contact lens check for the beginning of April. Went in and had an eye test!!! Told that I had to come back for a contact lens check. Returned a second time and had a consultation with Optician Number 2 - locum. Told they would order in a set of contact lenses. Told me they would ring me but e mailed e a week later. Told I had to book another appointment before I could collect them. Told to put them in half an hour before the appointment Arrived for my third appointment - Optician number 3 - again a locum and told they could not test them as I had only put them in half an hour before (which is what I had been told to do) and should have been wearing them since I collected them a week before. Told me they would order me another set and would ring me. No call after two weeks so rang again explaining I was going on holiday and was told by Connor that the contact lenses had arrived but he could not find them. Told him I was not at all happy with the service I had received so far and as I was going on holiday would need them urgently. He said he would explain to the 4th optician (who did actually work at Specsavers Thornbury) and ring me back a week ago.. 9 weeks later ...Still no call....no contact lenses and now going on holiday Not a happy customer
