As a lad who works away alot this is a gem of a boozer.... everything you could ask for. Decent pint, whatever you want to watch landlord will sort. locals all friendly "Hi vis Dan" and welcoming. Bar staff excellent.
Recently refurbished bar and lounge, but no money spent on the toilets, which are dated and had no hot water. Good range of pub sports, darts and pool.
Christmas Dinner for 8 service friendly and good very nice
Two excellent meals in a very friendly pub. Very good value for money. We were surprised it was so empty in the restaurant, particularly as we had eaten here a month previously and the food on that occasion was equally as good. A hidden treasure.
Good ale, reduced price Monday to Thursday. Very spacious pub with big screen TV, great for football. Friendly staff
