Lovely staff great food
Really nice fish but fries were too oily. Good staff great atmosphere
We get chips every Saturday night for 6 people from Parky's chipshop and this week I missed them and had to get chips from here, they were the worst chips we have ever had! No one could eat them as they were so greasy, soggy and some were uncooked inside and most had black bits on. We always give our dogs left over chips after, and for the first time ever the dogs would not even eat them, they sniffed them and walked away!! Would have given no stars if I could have, they are also 50% more expensive than our regular place!
Nice enough kids working in the shop, however the haddock is way overpriced at 6.15 for a standard sized whitefish.
Here's the thing. I ordered, my friend ordered and we got what we ordered. IF, however, the staff would have helped/paid attention, what we got was actually part of a "deal." Ended up costing me 2 pounds more than it would have as part of the deal. I was not offered any sauces either. I noticed other people who came in after were offered sauces and also told that their choices were part of a better deal. eh. maybe we were jsut a really interesting couple so we fascinated them. Food was ok (not the cheapest). You have several choices in this town..not sure why you would choose this one over another.
